Job summary

Uber is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to scale financial reporting, analytics, and planning for the Tech Finance team. You will partner with leadership to drive real-time decisions that support growth for couriers, restaurants, and drivers using our platform daily.

You will build and refine financial models, forecast outcomes, and collaborate with accounting to align management reporting while expanding analytical skills in SQL and related tools in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS or other relevant subject.
• 2+ years of proven experience.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Prior financial and/or analytical experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations.

About the role and team

As part of the Strategic Finance - Tech Finance team, you will help scale the financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities and empower decision-makers across Tech and Finance leadership. You will play a key role in all aspects of financial reporting and make significant contributions to high-profile strategic and operational initiatives. Your work and the insights you create will drive real-time business decisions and help Uber continue to scale while also creating more opportunities for the many thousands of couriers, restaurants, and drivers that use our platform daily.

What You\'ll Do

• Financial & Operational Planning: Partner with company leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals

Basic Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software package

For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $106,000 per year - USD $118,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $106,000 per year - USD $118,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
