Job summary

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory seeks a Finance & Accounting Professional to advise management on financial strategies and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will drive financial planning, conduct trend analysis, and ensure adherence to policies while supporting multiple directorates.

You will coordinate with senior leaders to optimize funding cycles, validate goals for Sales, FTEs and net income, and maintain internal controls across service centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 9+ years of relevant experience or 7+ with MS/MA.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Consult CITD leadership on financial strategies to achieve organizational and lab level vision.
• Develops annual budgets and performance projections for overhead, FTEs, and pool recovery.
• Oversee rate calculations and evaluate historical data to inform decisions and planning.
• Forecasts and analyzes financial trends; assesses budgets and overhead recoveries; recommends actions.
