Job summary

Trilon Group seeks a Chief Financial Officer in Atlanta, GA, to provide executive financial leadership for Waggoner and advise the President and leadership team on financial strategy and performance. The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, controls, and governance to drive sustainable growth.

In partnership with operational leaders, the CFO will enhance profitability, support strategic growth, and ensure timely financial reporting and analysis across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Experience within engineering, consulting, professional services, construction services, or other project-based businesses.
• Demonstrated success partnering with operational leaders to improve performance and profitability.
• Strong capabilities in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Advise President and leadership on financial strategy and business priorities.
• Guide decisions to support revenue growth, profitability, and enterprise value.
• Provide financial analysis to inform strategic planning and initiatives.
• Communicate complex financials clearly to leaders and translate into actions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop KPIs to monitor performance and profitability.
