Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, this role will establish and execute the organization’s financial vision, oversee accounting, reporting, asset/liability management, liquidity, and capital strategy, and manage risk.

The CFO chairs the Asset/liability Committee and guides budgeting, growth initiatives, investments, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master's in Finance preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred; 20+ years of progressive experience in credit union/banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, asset/liability management, liquidity and capital strategy.
• Lead external relations with auditors, regulators and financial institutions; ensure regulatory compliance.
