Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union in Atlanta, GA is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function on the executive team. The CFO will oversee accounting, reporting, asset/liability management, liquidity, and capital strategy to support growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or CMA, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred), and 20+ years in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master's in Finance is strongly preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred; 20+ years of progressive financial institution experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the organization’s financial vision.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, asset/liability management, liquidity, and capital strategy.
• Ensure accuracy of financial information and proactively manage risk.
• Lead and develop finance and accounting teams; manage external relationships with auditors and regulators.
