Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an executive-level finance leader in Scottsdale, AZ to serve as the CFO's right hand and head enterprise planning, performance management, and capital allocation. This hybrid role combines strategic finance initiatives with leadership of a high-performing team and modernization through AI-driven insights.

The position requires 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, deep FP&A expertise, and advanced Excel/financial systems skills; MBA/CPA is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Deep FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, capital allocation, valuation, and strategic finance expertise.
• Experience reporting to executive leadership with Board/lender/investor audiences.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency; MBA/CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan and long-range strategic plan.
• Advise the CFO and executive leadership with Board and investor reporting.
• Develop driver-based models and forecasts for revenue, EBITDA, FCF, liquidity, and covenant compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on pricing, investments, M&A, capital allocation, and growth opportunities.
• Build and develop the finance organization with better systems, reporting automation, and AI-powered insights.
