Baxter International is seeking a Finance Director, UCAN in the United States to provide financial leadership for the combined U.S. and Canada Pharmaceuticals and Clinical Nutrition businesses.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Finance – ITP Division and partners with the UCAN commercial leader to drive growth, profitability, and cash flow. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Pharmaceuticals industry experience in a leadership role.
• Strong business insight and sound judgment in a regulatory environment.
• Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams and priorities.
• Negotiation, interpersonal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• GAAP, tax, and legal accounting knowledge; acquisition accounting a plus.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and shared service resources.
• Decisive leader capable of generating options and implementing the best action.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and reporting of financial results, including trends and variances to budget and forecast.
• Translate insights into management reporting to support commercial execution.
• Provide leadership for operating forecast updates and the annual operating plan.
• Support a pipeline of new product launches and business development initiatives.
• Partner with Marketing Analytics to forecast price/volume and profitability.
• Lead financial analytics and negotiation for GPO, customer, tender, and vendor deals.
• Improve profitability as part of global initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with Accounting CoE on new commercial models and accounting treatments.
• Act as a key contact for Investor Relations and external messaging in the U.S. market.
• Drive compliance with GAAP, SEC requirements, and Baxter policies.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cross-region finance team with succession planning.
