Job summary

IDT and Aldevron, part of the Danaher family, seek a Sr. Director of Finance Operations and Manufacturing to drive cost, capacity, quality, and profitability across a multi-site manufacturing network.

You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Commercial teams to establish scalable costing and financial governance. The role reports to the CFO and prefers on-site work in Fargo, ND or Coralville, IA, with flexibility for qualified locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience supporting manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or technical operations; 5+ years leading leaders.
• Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site operational finance in biotech, pharmaceutical, CDMO, medical device, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Deep expertise in manufacturing finance: product costing, standard costing, cost accounting, COGS management, variance analysis, inventory valuation, profitability analysis.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, manufacturing cost structures, inventory optimization, capital deployment, capacity investment decisions, forecasting, and S&OP processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, enterprise reporting, executive KPI dashboards, and advanced financial modeling.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive transformation, and create clarity through metrics and standard work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior Finance partner to Operations and Manufacturing across IDT and Aldevron, linking operations to financial outcomes and enterprise value.
• Build and lead financial operating mechanisms to improve cost, capacity, quality, delivery, and working capital.”
• Design and scale product costing, standard costing, cost accounting, and profitability frameworks across the network.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Commercial, R&D, and Corporate Finance to identify risks and opportunities early.
• Support capital deployment, capacity expansion, manufacturing network planning, ERP implementation, and business case development with rigorous analysis.
• Lead Finance through transformation, integration, and continuous improvement while building standard work and accountability.
