Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL, invites applications for the Director, Finance. This leadership role oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls to support hospital operations and strategic growth.

You will partner with hospital leadership to optimize financial performance, manage capital planning, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a high-performance finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required.
• Seven+ years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree accepted.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements, reports, and analysis.
• Leads budgeting and forecasting processes, including development of annual operating and capital budgets, mid-year updates, and long-range plans.
• Conducts financial risk assessments and provides strategic insights to support decision making and goals.
• Manages general ledger activities, reconciliations, fixed assets, income auditing, and accounts payable review.
