Job summary

Brown & Brown in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a Senior Director, Finance Business Partner – Technology to lead financial planning, investment governance, and strategic partnering with the CITO and Technology leadership.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across Technology functions, including cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI, and enterprise applications. This role requires executive presence and the ability to translate technology initiatives into business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience, including senior business partnership with executive-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, investment governance, business case development, executive business partnership, and value realization.
• Experience with technology, financial management, cloud economics, FinOps, vendor management, and technology portfolio governance.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, synthesize complex information, and drive strategic decision-making.
• Curiosity about technology and ability to understand financial drivers of technology investments and transformation priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Finance Business Partner to the CITO and Technology Leadership Team, participating in strategic planning and investment governance.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the enterprise Technology organization.
• Advise on forecasts, budgets, cost containment strategies, and financial implications of technology decisions.
• Provide governance for AI initiatives, value realization reporting, and benefits tracking for enterprise AI investments.
• Develop transparency across Technology spending including labor, contracts, software, cloud, and data platforms.
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, Accounting, and Technology leaders on vendor relationships and sourcing decisions.
