Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director, Accounting & Finance for a well-positioned construction company in Phoenix. The role leads the accounting and finance function, delivering accurate reporting, improving controls, and guiding strategic planning.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance, a strong construction background, and a CPA is preferred. You will oversee project cost accounting, WIP analysis, forecasting, and treasury activities while mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years accounting/finance leadership experience.
• Strong construction industry background preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and finance function, delivering accurate reporting and guidance.
• Oversee project cost accounting, cost reporting and WIP analysis.
• Direct monthly and annual close, with strong internal controls.
• Coordinate audits, tax matters, banking and financing activities.
