AmerCable, located in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced Financial Controller to serve as the senior finance leader and business partner to the President. This role drives profitability, working capital, and strategic initiatives across Houston and El Dorado.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in finance within manufacturing, CPA designation, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams, improving cost accounting, and strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA designation is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary finance advisor to President and AmerCable leadership team.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly performance reviews.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, internal controls and audit support across two sites.
• Drive working capital optimization and profitability through manufacturing cost insights.
