Job summary

AmerCable, part of MATTR, seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance across Houston and El Dorado. You will partner with the President and leadership to drive profitability, optimize working capital, and strengthen financial stewardship across sites.

The role requires strategic insight, deep FP&A expertise, and a track record of building high-performing teams in a manufacturing setting. Onsite with flexibility, travel between locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience preferred.
• Experience partnering with operations and leadership teams.
• Strong FP&A, cost accounting, and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as finance advisor to President and leadership team.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Monitor revenue, margins, working capital, and cash flow.
• Coach and develop a geographically dispersed finance team.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
