Job summary

Universal Instruments seeks a hands-on financial leader to manage accounting, reporting, forecasting, internal controls and day-to-day financial operations. This working manager role blends technical accounting with strategic business partnership to support growth and profitability.

Reporting to the President, you will guide month-end close, develop models, analyze performance, and drive cost containment and efficiencies across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 8+ years of progressive experience.
• MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance with commensurate experience considered.
• CPA and/or CMA certification preferred.
• Strong SAP and advanced Excel experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Global or multi-entity financial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, internal controls and month-/quarter-/year-end close.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, tax, cost accounting and financial closing activities.
• Provide financial analyses and reporting to senior management, including variance analyses and dashboards.
• Develop models, metrics and analyses to support profitability, growth and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain internal controls and policies; coordinate internal/external audits.
