Job summary

ALOM in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced Controller to oversee financial management across U.S. locations, guiding accounting operations, internal controls, and reporting to executive leadership.

The successful candidate will partner with the CFO, drive cost efficiency, audits, ERP enhancements, and strategic finance initiatives to support rapid growth in a tech-enabled supply chain organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 8-12+ years accounting/finance experience, including 3-4 years in public accounting and multi-site/manufacturing/supply chain with international experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Experience in fast-growing, tech-enabled, or supply-chain/logistics organizations is desirable.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling, BI tools (Power BI, Sisense, Tableau, Qlik) and ERP systems; UKG a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger management, cost accounting, revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and month-end close activities
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and standardized financial procedures
• Support FP&A with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights to drive strategic decisions
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, program management, and external partners to support cost efficiency and margin improvement
• Manage annual financial audits and liaison with external auditors
• Support ERP system enhancements, reporting improvements, and automation initiatives
• Support Treasury, tax filings, regulatory compliance, and related financial requirements
• Drive lean, high-performing finance organization through talent development, training, process optimization, and resource planning
