Job summary

ALOM is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial management and accounting across U.S. locations, reporting to the CFO.

The role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with operations and external partners, and delivery of timely GAAP-compliant financial statements. Ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in accounting/finance, including public accounting, with multi-site or manufacturing exposure, plus strong ERP/BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 3–4 years in public accounting and multi-site or manufacturing/supply-chain with international exposure.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Experience in fast‑growing, technology-enabled, or supply-chain/logistics organizations is desirable.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and BI/reporting tools and ERP systems; UKG experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations: general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, AP, AR, fixed assets, month-end close.
• Ensure timely, accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and standardized procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A with insights for decisions.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and external partners for cost efficiency and margin improvement.
• Lead annual audits and liaison with external auditors.
• Support ERP enhancements, reporting improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Support treasury, tax filings, regulatory compliance, and related requirements.
• Drive lean finance organization through talent development and process optimization.
