Job summary

The role requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, leadership of staff, and proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of chart of accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed-asset accounting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate results.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Supervise staff and drive continuous accounting process improvements.
