Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 8–12 years minimum experience as a Controller.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Background in consumer goods, wholesale, or distribution is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ability to partner with IT for systems improvements.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Act as a financial partner to the President and leadership team, contributing to long-term planning and decision-making.
• Lead forecasting and budgeting processes, including variance analysis and planning updates.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports (P&L by company, cash flow, forecast vs. budget).
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax obligations, oversee tax returns.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and audits.
• Develop internal controls and oversee core financial systems and reporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with HR on compensation, benefits, and regulatory compliance.
