Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 7–10 years’ experience in a financial institution at a management position overseeing accounting and finance activities.
• Expertise in asset liability management, cash management, reconciliation, audits and tax reporting.
• Ability to effectively manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to quantify problems and provide resolutions.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws/regulatory requirements as related to functional areas.
• Proficiency with MS Office, financial software, and reporting tools (Core, ALM, profitability, Report Writer).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting & Finance Department, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Oversee ALM, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with CFO and senior leadership on financial modeling for the strategic plan.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and regulatory reporting processes.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
• Support corporate growth initiatives with actionable financial insights.
