Job summary

Country View Family Farms is seeking a results-driven Controller to join our leadership team and drive financial oversight, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence. You will partner with executives to shape financial health, manage budgeting, and ensure GAAP compliance across all operations.

You’ll lead a high-performing finance team, oversee GL, AP/AR, and cost accounting, and mentor staff while traveling to farms, feed mills, and the corporate HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive experience, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, capital investments, and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, delivering insights that drive action.
• Oversee all divisional accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, and cost accounting.
• Ensure rigorous internal controls and data integrity to safeguard company assets.
• Serve as the primary contact for audits and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Champion financial systems improvements, including ERP upgrades and integration.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
