Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC is seeking a Commercial Finance Specialist to manage the General Ledger Closing process for AR, Contracts, and DME, ensuring internal controls and accurate reporting. You will lead journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and collaborate with SSC and market units to finalize month- and year-end closes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of related business experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Preferred experience in preparing financial information for use by non-financial managers.

Responsibilities

• Month, Quarter and year end close responsibilities.
• Close process related to AR, Contracts and DME.
• Collaborate with SSC, HQ Finance team, and Market Unit Finance team around closes.
• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Contracts: EA Reviews, Dashboard and Contracts Reporting, Contract payment management, contract database administration.
• Accounts Receivable: manage reporting for NSF, chargebacks, Dunning, status changes, and deductions; respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate meetings with BSNA, MUFM, and local teams to address seriously past due issues.
