Uber's Finance team seeks an Associate on the Strategic Finance group to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for Platform Engineering. This role emphasizes analytical rigor and building scalable financial models to answer business questions and guide decision-making.

The ideal candidate has exceptional modeling skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights for Finance and business partners.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• 2 years of relevant FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or another highly analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable financial models from scratch identifying inputs, drivers, and outputs.
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
• Forecasting and planning with driver-based models, scenarios, and sensitivities.
• Analyze financial and operational data to understand cost drivers and trends.
• Improve existing models for accuracy, scalability, automation, and usability.
• Translate model outputs into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and business partners to source inputs and validate data.
