Uber is seeking an Associate on the Strategic Finance team to support planning, budgeting, and financial analysis for Platform Engineering. The role emphasizes analytical modeling, scalable frameworks, and strong collaboration with Finance and cross-functional partners.

The ideal candidate brings exceptional modeling skills, 2+ years in FP&A or related fields, and proven ability to translate business questions into actionable analyses for decision-making.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or another highly analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable financial models from scratch with inputs, drivers, calculations, and outputs.
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and quantitative analyses.
• Develop driver-based forecasting and planning models with scenarios and sensitivities.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost drivers and trends.
• Improve existing models for accuracy, automation, and usability.
• Translate model outputs into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and business partners to validate inputs and data.
