Willow Wealth is seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to join our high-powered finance team in New York. You will help with short- and long-term financial forecasting, key metric analysis, and financial reporting, building and refining financial models, and preparing executive and Board-level communications.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or strategic finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Microsoft Excel mastery required (with experience in building financial models, analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports).
• Heightened attention to detail and meticulous work.
• Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Looker, Tableau, SQL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of business drivers to solve complex problems.
• Assist with forecasting and financial planning, maintaining long-term consolidated forecast model.
• Serve as operational finance partner to define metrics and provide insights.
• Provide monthly financial reporting, cost tracking and KPI reporting.
• Participate in annual budgeting and monthly budget-to-actual reporting.
• Support Executive Team on Board-level communications and quarterly packages.
• Assist corporate development and capital markets initiatives, including potential future capital raising, M&A.
• Utilize data analytics to derive key performance insights.
• Leverage AI to develop systems and tools for accurate reporting and forecasting.
