Job summary

La Plata Electric Association in Durango, CO seeks a Manager of Business & Financial Analysis to lead financial modeling, strategic reporting, and KPI development for the organization. This role partners with the CFO and leadership to drive data-driven decisions and long-term forecasting.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of finance experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a track record of delivering actionable insights to executives and boards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business/finance or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic analysis.
• Experience presenting to leadership and board.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop KPI reporting and analytical framework to support strategic goals.
• Cleanse data and ensure accuracy of project data and reports.
• Build business cases with valuation and ROI analyses.
• Create performance scorecards for ongoing projects.
• Support revenue, expense, and rate design analyses.
• Maintain and improve financial models and LTFF.
• Prepare revenue/expense bridge analyses and assist with cash management.
• Collaborate with CFO and Controller and present to leadership.
• Maintain Excel/PowerPoint tools for reporting.
