Job summary

Phoenix Global, a premier international provider of steel mill services, seeks a Financial Analyst to support the AVP of Finance for Northern and Southern Regions. You will help prepare monthly forecasts, financial reports, and ad hoc analyses, reporting to the AVP of Finance.

The role requires advanced Excel, financial modeling, and experience with Oracle/OneStream. Travel to facilities and a strong sense of accuracy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• MBA or other graduate degree in Finance or related field preferred.
• High degree of proficiency with Excel, including advanced functions.
• Demonstrated success in financial modeling and analysis.
• Experience with Oracle and/or OneStream preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively assist in developing and optimizing forecasting and reporting models.
• Prepare and standardize reports and projections.
• Identify trends in financial performance, risks, opportunities, and provide recommendations.
• Conduct quantitative analyses around budgeting, forecasting, and company-wide objectives.
• Analyze and monitor variances in financial metrics.
• Assist in developing finance and business presentations.
• Design reports in Oracle and OneStream consolidation/reporting packages.
• Streamline data exchange between systems and sources.
• Perform other tasks to support and improve team operations.
