Job summary

Marquette Associates is seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting to lead all financial and accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to support growth.

You will oversee GAAP/IFRS reporting, monthly, quarterly and annual closes, cash flow management, and treasury activities, while shaping the firm’s financial strategy and communicating insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• CPA or MBA required.
• 10+ years of experience in a management role in finance or accounting.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, KPI development and reporting.
• Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, investment management software, O365).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term goals.
• Provide leadership in financial accounting, budgeting, systems, planning and problem solving.
• Oversee preparation and presentation of financial statements with GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes including consolidation and reporting.
• Prepare shareholder and Board reports and deliver actionable insights to senior management.
• Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, treasury, and banking relationships.
