Job summary

Meta in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Network Development Manager to drive the commercial development and delivery of fiber capacity across North America. You will manage provider engagements, coordinate fiber routes, and support contract execution while tracking milestones.

The role requires collaborating with Network Planning, NIE, Finance, Legal, Sourcing, and Data Center teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate network data, in a fast-growing, cutting-edge infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 2+ years in network development or related field.
• Experience managing vendor/provider relationships in telecom contexts.
• Experience with fiber route design, IRU/lease structures, and delivery lifecycle.
• Ability to prioritize competing projects by impact and deadlines.
• Experience communicating project status to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with data analysis and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with telecommunications providers, coordinating orders and delivery schedules.
• Support fiber route development and assess feasibility with planning and engineering teams.
• Assist contract negotiations for IRU/leases and related infra contracts.
• Coordinate with NIE, planning, finance, legal, sourcing, and data centers for handoffs.
• Track delivery milestones and identify risks with mitigation options.
• Maintain project tracking systems and provide visibility on status and performance.
• Identify workflow improvements and document best practices.
