Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a seasoned program manager for a government contracting program in Colorado Springs. The role leads contract execution, interfaces with government stakeholders, and directs planning across sustainment, cybersecurity, SEIT, maintenance, and logistics.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, 10+ years of management experience, 8+ years of domain experience, US citizenship, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Leads overall contract execution and serves as the primary Government interface for program performance, transition, staffing, schedule, risk, cost/manpower reporting, PMRs, CDRLs, and action-item closure.
• Directs integrated planning across sustainment, cybersecurity, SEIT, maintenance, logistics, customer additions, and configuration-controlled changes; maintains Government visibility into performance, priorities, risks, and corrective actions.
• Responsible for interacting and coordinating with all levels of the organization to meet the needs of the program.
• Provides expert guidance and direction to program staff. Properly manages all available resources to ensure successful outcomes (i.e., sustained, profitable program augmentation).
• Actively works to use AMERICAN SYSTEMS' MERGE service delivery framework in the execution of their programs.
• Follows applicable Service Delivery Models (SDMs) and contributes to their continuous improvement.
• Promotes a culture of accountability; operates with focus on achieving Key Results.
• Oversees all phases of the program lifecycle to include managing the development and delivery of the Program Management Plan (PM Plan) and program deliverables in accordance with contract terms, established quality standards, and company policy.
• Identifies and mitigates risks; monitors and manages resources. Procures materials IAW company policy and approves all expenditures as authorized.
