Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Security Project Manager to lead security programs for classified environments. The role requires coordinating internal stakeholders, managing roadmaps, and overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver secure outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, 5+ years in program management, and strong skills in Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced mission-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, security studies, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience, including experience supporting classified or restricted programs.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and business units in support of security-related programs and initiatives.
• Develop security program roadmaps aligned with business objectives, compliance needs, and organizational priorities.
• Manage security programs from start to finish, including planning, coordination, resource management, progress reporting, and post-implementation review.
• Lead Agile-based program activities such as sprint planning, backlog coordination, team facilitation, and retrospectives.
• Track dependencies across teams and remove blockers to enable efficient delivery of security initiatives.
• Oversee security-related projects, including coordination of vendors, financial tracking, and operational support activities.
• Support compliance and audit activities by coordinating schedules, tracking requirements, and identifying risks or challenges.
