Job summary

Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers, seeks a Federal Pricing and Compliance Manager to join our Federal Contracts and Compliance team. You will support pricing provisions, lead pricing strategy, and advise the CFO on government cost and pricing compliance.

The role involves complex data analysis, collaboration with Contracts, Finance, HR, and Operations, and ensuring CAS, GAAP, and internal policies are followed. California pay noted; strong pricing leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• 15+ years pricing/accounting experience with government contracts.
• 8+ years of leadership experience.
• Expertise in government contracting, pricing negotiations, and cost analysis.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS audits.

Responsibilities

• Review solicitation requirements to address pricing compliance and strategy.
• Develop cost and pricing exhibits for compliant proposals.
• Lead cost-volume content development prior to submission.
• Develop pricing requirements in the proposal planning process.
• Build pricing templates and coordinate with operations.
• Execute pricing strategies within proposals.
• Coordinate pricing reviews with Contracts and senior leadership.
• Perform cost/price/profitability analysis on federal contracts.
• Provide pricing compliance training to finance, accounting, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes and templates.
• Prepare and review cost estimates and prevailing wage rates where applicable.
• Interface with government and audits for pricing inquiries.
