Fortress Information Security LLC in Washington, DC offers a Senior Advisor, Federal Partnerships and Executive Operations role. This remote-friendly position reports to division leadership and drives federal engagement, events, and policy tracking while safeguarding sensitive information.

The role requires an active Secret Clearance, 3+ years in related fields, exceptional communication, and strong CRM discipline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business development, partnerships, program operations, executive support, or federal policy.
• Ability to run complex logistics and multi-stakeholder events end to end, on deadline.
• Knowledge of U.S. national security priorities and federal policy process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive materials and briefings.
• Proven CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline tracking.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and protect confidential information.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C. metro area with travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify partnership opportunities with primes, systems integrators, tech vendors, and federal partners.
• Manage day-to-day relationships, track commitments, and elevate issues to leadership.
• Support capture and teaming by mapping ecosystems against capabilities (CSPR, SBOM, product security).
• Prepare and coordinate teaming agreements and MOUs for review and execution.
• Maintain partner records, pipeline entries, and activity history in the CRM; produce reports.
• Plan and execute federal events, industry days, conferences, and hosted engagements.
• Direct cross-functional contributors under a charter issued by the division president.
• Serve as operational partner to the division president; manage calendars and travel.
• Prepare agendas, materials, read-aheads; capture decisions and commitments to closure.
• Draft correspondence, briefings, and presentations for the division president.
• Coordinate with program delivery, contracts, and marketing to keep priorities moving.
• Monitor legislation and appropriations relevant to supply chain cybersecurity; translate to implications.
• Prepare position papers, talking points, and read-aheads on legislative matters.
• Coordinate meetings with congressional offices and federal agencies; prepare Fortress positions.
• Support Fortress participation in trade associations and government forums.
• Handle sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion.
