Job summary

Marsh seeks a Program Manager to join the Federal Health Practice, leading cross-functional workstreams and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery for public health clients. The role requires proactive leadership, strong PM expertise, and experience with federally funded programs.

You will partner with Federal Health leadership, manage risks, and coordinate with internal teams to maintain compliance and client satisfaction across projects. Hybrid/remote work with travel expectations are included.

Qualifications

• Proven program management experience, preferably in federal health or defense-related environments.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience mentoring or training early career staff in project management and scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, including forecasting and budget tracking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote teams.
• Familiarity with publicly funded health systems and managed care programs.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Federal Health leadership to align client goals and internal teams.
• Drive and support project execution and delivery with project leads and managers.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee workplans with deliverables, milestones, and resources.
• Monitor program finances including forecasting and spend tracking for budget adherence.
• Identify and manage risks; escalate issues to mitigate impact.
• Onboard and mentor new project team members to build capabilities.
• Engage internal stakeholders to ensure compliance for the federal health practice.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and budget.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Support delivery activities to achieve successful client outcomes.
