Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Program Manager to join our Federal Health Practice, guiding project support across multiple workstreams for publicly funded health system clients. You will work with leadership to identify risks, drive on-time, on-budget delivery, and align with client expectations.

The role requires strong PM skills, budget forecasting, mentoring junior staff, and clear communication with remote teams. Travel 25-30% is expected; hybrid/remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Proven program management experience, preferably in federal health or defense environments.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with multi-project oversight.
• Experience mentoring early career staff in project management and scheduling.
• Forecasting and budget tracking experience for programs.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with publicly funded health systems and managed care.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Federal Health leadership efforts and align with client goals and internal teams.
• Drive and support project execution and delivery with project leads.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive workplans with milestones and resources.
• Monitor financials, forecast and track spend to ensure budget adherence.
• Identify and manage internal and client risks, escalating as needed.
• Onboard new project team members with training and mentoring.
• Establish processes with internal stakeholders to support compliance.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Maintain clear communications with stakeholders via status updates and reports.
• Support delivery activities to achieve successful client outcomes.
