Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks an experienced administrator to manage the daily operations of faculty appointments, promotion and tenure for the SPH Office of Faculty Affairs.

You will collaborate with SPH leadership, the APT Committee, and the WashU Provost’s office to ensure timely and accurate tenure review materials. You will develop SOPs, lead strategic initiatives for appointments, and manage data and reporting for benchmarking and evaluation of engagement across SPH faculty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• No specific certification or professional license required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day appointment, promotion and tenure tasks for SPH Faculty Affairs.
• Collaborate with SPH leadership and AP&T Committee to plan meetings and review processes.
• Develop and implement SOPs for faculty appointment, promotion, and tenure activities.
• Lead data collection and materials for promotion/tenure review packets.
• Coordinate data management, benchmarking data, and reporting for tenure reviews.
• Oversee honorarium payments to external reviewers and track payments.
• Support development of data management platform for appointment, promotion and tenure activities.
