Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Associate Facility Planner to support federal planning projects, including DoD and IC programs, in a collaborative hybrid environment in Atlanta.

The position requires a relevant degree, at least five years of planning experience, and proficiency in MS Office and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional planning experience; Master's or certifications may substitute
• Experience as a Facility Planner or related position
• Experience in land use planning, site planning, or site design
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and lead projects

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document physical and functional facility analysis to inform space needs, risks, and opportunities
• Define operational and mission requirements and develop strategies for evolving facilities
• Gather data through research and interviews to shape future requirements
• Support planning recommendations and develop programming documentation (DD Form1391)
• Assist in project validation and documentation compliant with DoD/UFC policies
• Contribute to Vision Plans, Area Development Plans, District Plans, and Installation Development Plans
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to deliver planning content and deliverables
