A Facility Planner applies data research and interview techniques to gather and analyze data to help define future requirements.

Projects range from small, medium, or large master planning and facility planning efforts. Responsibilities will include supporting planning recommendations developed by the team, developing programming documentation (DD Form1391) , project validation, and corresponding documentation in compliance with all applicable Federal and DoD policies and criteria. Planning projects may also include Vision Plans, Area Development Plans, District Plans, and Installation Development Plans that require knowledge and application of applicable Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) guidance. The Associate Facility Planner should possess the following qualities:

  • Deliverable Management: Support planning team with document layouts, various charts/figures, brochures, posters, slide shows, and provision of deliverables in a variety of media formats. Graphic design skills are preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal, to include technical writing/editing experience and a demonstrated ability to write, edit, and deliver planning content.
