The State Public Works Division within the Nevada Department of Administration in Carson City seeks a licensed architect or engineer to lead statewide facility planning and future capital projects. You will conduct needs assessments, develop project scopes and budgets, and coordinate with consultants and regulators to shape the CIP.

Qualificações

• Licensure as a professional architect or engineer is required at appointment and for continued employment; Nevada licensure within 12 months if licensed elsewhere.
• Three years of professional experience in facility planning, capital project development, feasibility studies, architectural/engineering design, or related public-building work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead early project planning, including feasibility studies and evaluation of long-term facility needs.
• Coordinate with A/E consultants on planning studies and analyses for project concept development.
• Translate agency needs into clear project concepts and planning recommendations for future capital projects.
• Review consultant planning deliverables to ensure alignment with SPWD standards and agency needs.
