Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division seeks a Project Manager I to lead facilities projects in Richmond, VA. The role involves planning, resource coordination, and adherence to budget and deadlines, often with third‑party vendors.

You will work with clients to define scope, prepare bids, track progress, and generate final close‑out documentation while supporting forecasting and budget activities with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3–5 years of experience in construction management is a plus

Responsibilities

• Plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to deadlines and budget.
• Acquires resources and coordinates team members and third party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
• Work with client to develop a complete scope of work; engage with third party vendors for price quotes and bidding.
• Maintains and presents project reports on a regular basis.
• Updates project tracker site with all documentation pertaining to project.
• Prepares all close-out documentation for final billing and archiving.
• Manages a large number of projects with medium to high complexity and budgets between $1M and $2M.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting in conjunction with head office and operating teams.

Education
