Job summary

Colliers International in Austin is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, budgeting, and long-term FM strategy. Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in Property and Facility management.
• Strong understanding of financial reports, including variance of actual vs. budget numbers.
• Working knowledge of building systems and infrastructure.
• BS/BA degree from a university or college accredited through a Regional Accrediting Association.
• Demonstrated operational success in managing maintenance operations and vendor services.
• Proven financial and accounting knowledge and abilities.
• Superior organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with high standards of customer service and negotiating sensitive management issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge around facility systems and operations.
• Proficient computer and administrative skills.
• Strong attention to detail, well organized.
• Ability to grow as the scope of the position increases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across maintenance, occupant/owner relations, and long-term FM planning.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulations and risk standards.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and financial reports; analyze variances.
• Lead capital planning, reporting, and project management initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to client policies, procedures, and service standards.
