Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facility Manager to lead onsite client relationships and operational excellence across assets. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, safety compliance, and building automation, delivering peak performance and exceptional occupant experiences.

You will develop budgets, manage vendors, conduct inspections, and coordinate cross-functional teams, driving cost efficiency and sustainability while ensuring regulatory adherence and continuous uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive facilities management experience in commercial real estate or corporate facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all facility operations activities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and building automation to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
• Develop and manage facility budgets, track expenditures, forecast operational needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality standards
• Coordinate and oversee vendor and contractor relationships, including procurement, performance monitoring, contract compliance, and quality assurance
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for operational improvements or system upgrades
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including building codes, environmental standards, OSHA requirements
• Respond to facility emergencies and implement business continuity measures to minimize disruption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align facility operations with strategic objectives
• Prepare reports and presentations detailing performance metrics, budget status, and recommendations
• Champion sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency goals
