Job summary

Fort Wayne Metals is seeking a Project Manager to lead facility-related capital projects across the organization. You will coordinate expansions, renovations, and infrastructure improvements, serving as the central link among Leadership, Facilities, Engineering, Operations, EHS&S, IT, Maintenance, Finance, and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in facilities/project management, with OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, Project Management, Architecture, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training required or obtainable within designated time.
• 3+ years in facilities management, architectural design and project management environments.
• Experience leading capital projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility expansions, renovations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate space allocation for manufacturing, warehouse, lab, and office areas.
• Create and maintain facility drawings and site plans using CAD tools.
• Manage contractor proposals, selection, and performance with safety and quality in view.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Ensure OSHA and building code compliance; liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
