Amex Global Business Travel is seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Specialist to own the food and beverage strategy for a dedicated account. You will manage menus, budgets, and relationships with venues, caterers, and operations teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.

The role emphasizes adherence to contracts, dietary requirements, and cost controls, with responsibilities spanning planning, sourcing, and on-site execution across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Five+ years managing food and beverage for large corporate meetings and events.
• Experience budgeting for F&B lines and reconciling at program close.
• Negotiation with venues, caterers, and convention services.
• Ability to coordinate across venues, staff, and partners for events.

Responsibilities

• Own the food and beverage plan for every assigned program with menus and budget aligned to objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for hotel and venue catering teams; approve banquet event orders.
• Manage dietary, allergen, and accessibility requirements across functions.
• Track guarantees, attrition, and consumption; surface financial exposure.
• Lead onsite F&B execution across sessions, tastings, site walks, and daily touchpoints.
• Contribute to venue sourcing, RFPs, and proposals with cost modeling.
