Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field; five+ years' experience may substitute.
• At least seven years of direct experience in technology communications.
• Experience building relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Experience translating technical concepts for external audiences.
• Ability to develop strategic communications plans aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop External Communications Content: Lead the creation and delivery of high-quality content, including blog posts, social media updates, talking points, and media briefing materials.
• Drive Strategic Communications Planning: Develop and execute long-term communications plans aligned with broader business goals, ensuring initiatives contribute to measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineering, product, and cross-functional leadership teams to identify, develop, and scale compelling stories about artificial intelligence and technological innovation.
• Build Media Relationships: Proactively cultivate and maintain relationships with AI reporters, technology journalists, and influential industry voices.
• Shape Technology Narratives: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible stories for external audiences.
• Manage Content Pipelines: Coordinate the development and flow of communications materials, ensuring content is relevant, timely, consistent, and aligned with strategic priorities.
• Support External Engagement: Help strengthen the organization’s visibility and reputation through effective media engagement and targeted communications initiatives.
• Measure Communications Impact: Contribute to communications programs that demonstrate measurable results and support long-term strategic objectives.
