Job summary

Seattle Humane in Bellevue, WA seeks an experienced Events Manager to lead fundraising and community events, delivering exceptional donor experiences while advancing fundraising goals.

You will manage budgets, timelines, and partnerships with venues and vendors, collaborating with marketing and development teams to ensure cohesive event strategies and high-quality guest experiences. Hybrid schedule and regional travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of event management experience.
• Proven success managing complex, high-profile events.
• Strong relationship building, negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Experience in planning and making public presentations to professional groups, both virtually and in-person.

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategic planning and execution of fundraising, donor cultivation, and community engagement events.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, workplans, and complex logistics from concept through execution.
• Oversee relationships with vendors, venues, and production partners.
• Collaborates with marketing to create event communications and collateral from promotion through follow-up.
• Partners with major gifts and corporate teams for sponsor and donor engagement throughout the event lifecycle.
