Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Events to own critical components of conferences, sponsorships and association programmes that align with Pearson's go-to-market priorities.

You will translate objectives into high‑quality event experiences, coordinating internal teams, partners and sponsors to ensure successful delivery while mentoring junior colleagues and driving continuous improvement in a global events programme.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently managing complex events, conferences, sponsorships or association programmes.
• Strong project management including work planning, budgets and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead event planning and delivery from start to post-event follow-up.
• Manage budgets, timelines, vendors and venues.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners for readiness and delivery excellence.
• Support sponsorship and association programmes from planning through activation.
• Capture outcomes and suggest improvements for future programmes.
