The position oversees internal academic events, CME activities, donor events, and community outreach, while coordinating UNC Lineberger's presence at AACR, ASCO, SITC, ASH, and related meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience in the area of assignment.
  • All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate high-impact events and conferences to advance UNC Lineberger's mission and national reputation.
  • Manage internal academic and leadership events, CME activities, donor events, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Lead UNC Lineberger's presence at major national/international oncology conferences (AACR, ASCO, SITC, ASH, SABCS, ASTRO, SSO).
  • Coordinate budgeting, vendor management, logistics, registrations, audiovisuals, speaker support, and on-site execution.
