UNC-Chapel Hill seeks a Strategic Events Manager to lead planning, execution and evaluation of high-impact events and conferences that advance the center’s mission and national visibility.

The role manages a portfolio of institutional events and national oncology conference engagements, coordinating with faculty, leadership, communications, development and external partners to deliver exceptional experiences and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and evaluate high-impact events and conferences.
• Coordinate internal academic and leadership events (seminars, CME activities, donor events).
• Lead national/international oncology conference engagements (AACR, ASCO, SITC, ASH).
• Manage budgets, vendors, contracts, registrations and AV production.
• Collaborate with cancer center administration, communications, development and external partners.
