Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event management.
• At least 2 years in event strategy, fundraising or development events.

• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation and internet.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning, including logistics and guest lists.
• Develop and execute a diverse portfolio of events including donor engagement and alumni events.
• Negotiate contracts and track budgets and expenses.
• Collaborate with departments and external partners to deliver strategic event experiences.
• Support expansion-related events in Troy and Greater Oakland County.
