BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina seeks a full-time events and promotions coordinator for a 40-hour workweek in Columbia, SC. The role involves producing incentive events, community activities and in-store seminars, with occasional overtime and travel between buildings.

The position requires a Bachelor’s/Associate degree or 4 years of related experience, 1 year marketing experience, and strong design/production knowledge of promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree; Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience.
• 1 year marketing experience and 1 year planning/conducting marketing promotions and events (may be concurrent).
• In-depth knowledge of design/production process of marketing and promotional materials; ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, manage and evaluate community sponsorships and member events.
• Coordinate posters, flyers and ads for events across social media.
• Manage member programs with research, promotions, eligibility and reporting.
• Coordinate ad hoc outings and events for internal/external groups.
• Maintain vendor bids and item inventory; coordinate approvals and distribution.
